Call for Papers

We welcome submissions of four types: research-based abstracts, practice-based abstracts, workshop proposals and special session proposals.

Research-based abstract (max 1000 words)

The abstract is based on scientific work and is intended for being completed as a full paper or an extended abstract.

Practice-based abstract (max 500 words)

The abstract is based on practice-based cases reported in a systematic form. It is intended for being completed as an extended abstract.

Workshop proposal

We encourage proposals for workshops. A workshop may take different forms hands-on demonstration of a tool or method, a joint investigation of a challenge or other. The proposal should include title, purpose, and name of organiser. Duration: 1,5 hours or 2 x 1,5 hours.

Special Session proposal

We invite proposals for special sessions. A special session focusses on a specific topic, e.g. “Lean in healthcare” or “Ergonomics intervention methods”. A number of invited speakers are presenting their paper in the session. Session papers are subject to the same peer-review procedures as normal conference full papers. The proposal should include title, description of topic, name of session chair, and a list of minimum 3 speakers. Duration: 1,5 hours or 2 x 1,5 hours.
